Abstract Canvas Wall Art ‘Bother Me’ 1

Like most IvIvI artworks, ‘Bother Me’ 1 explores the world of abstract canvas wall art, with its geometric repeating patterns to form a unique home decor geometric painting with a variety of bright colours.

Bother Me is inspired by the satisfaction and dissatisfaction with “perfection.” Many of IvIvI artworks are symmetrical and while there are symmetrical components to Bother Me, the biggest challenge for the viewer is that not only are there rotations for every other shape, but your eye is constantly drawn to the inverse colored shape. How do you make this symmetrical? Bother Me is special in that if requested, IvIvI can draw the partner image on a separate artboard or gessobord and flip the image so that you could pair them next to each other and satisfy your need for symmetry!

Descriptions of artwork surfaces

  • Black Archival Gessobord

    Gessobord measures 16” x 20” & 3/8” thickness exactly.
Artwork measures size A3 and is centered on the gessobord.

    • Choose black archival gessobord for a high quality artwork that is gallery-ready as soon as you receive it. Warp-resistant and very solid. The hard surface allows archival ink to dry on top and have a visually raised effect.
  • Black Archival Artboard

    Artboard measures 16” x 20” & 1/16” thickness exactly.
Artwork measures size A3 and is centered on the artboard.

    • Choose black archival artboard for a striking image contrast that you can frame (don’t use glass over your artwork for best viewing, place an extra backing instead or use museum quality glass) or hang by itself (command strips work well).
